What drives the cost
Five core factors set the price of a musical fountain:

The hidden cost: programming the show
The industry's own data is clear: hand-programming a single 3-minute song takes 2-4 hours to a full week and requires a specialist to place 1,500-6,000 individual commands one by one on a DMX timeline. This labor is usually invisible in a quote.
Arcus's AI does the same job in minutes. It analyzes the whole song offline (beats, sections, build-ups and drops), composes a timed, anticipatory choreography from a palette of named water and light animations, then validates it against a real-physics 3D simulator (a digital twin of the fountain). It is composed, not reactive: it knows the drop is coming and builds toward it.

The Arcus model: configure, then quote
Arcus is not a fixed-price product; it is quote-based: you configure the system online in your browser and receive a custom quote. There are two ways to buy:
- Control + AI only (retrofit): Drive your existing fountain's pumps and lights with Arcus control boards and the AI composer. Your system becomes choreographed without rebuilding the basin; it is the lowest-budget entry path.
- Full system: Units (motor+pump Driver and/or RGB light), buffers (up to 30 units each), one Main controller, and an optional Raspberry Pi gateway for internet, audio and remote access.
The design studio and real-physics 3D simulator run in the browser. Manufacturing is by İkaz Elektrik in Turkey, and the interface is trilingual TR/EN/AR.
How to plan your budget
For a transparent budget, work in this order:
- Set the scale: How many jets? Water-only or with RGB? Jet count and RGB are the main drivers of hardware cost.
- Count what you already have: If the basin, pumps and electrical are in place, you can proceed with a control + AI (retrofit) budget only.
- Keep install and civil works separate: Building a basin from scratch usually costs more than the hardware and depends on your local contractor.
